Pastor Tony Ferreira

Tony.jpg

Tony was born and raised in Hanna, IN. From a young age, he always loved God and being involved in whatever Church activities that he could. When he entered third grade, his Sunday School teacher, Mrs. King, shared the Gospel with him. Curious, Tony asked his teacher after class more about salvation and assurance of faith. Ever since that moment, Tony has dedicated his life to bringing glory and honor to God, and to love Him and others.

Tony grew in his faith as he attended Awana, youth group, Vacation Bible School, and several Christian summer camps throughout his youth. He attended Word of Life Bible camps in 2008 and 2009, then served on staff from 2010 to 2014.

Tony graduated high school at South Central Jr./Sr. High School while taking several classes at Purdue University North Central. After graduating, Tony attended the Word of Life Bible Institute in New York for two years. Afterward, he completed his undergraduate degree at Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, receiving a Bachelor's degree in Biblical Studies. He also received a Master's Degree in Spiritual Formation and Discipleship from Moody Theological Seminary. In 2019, Tony started a Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership with a focus on Ecclesial Leadership from Regent University but later transferred to Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Tony enjoys studying, math, languages, traveling, animals, spending time with people, and of course, serving in Church. He has joyfully served in different Church roles such as leading small groups, teaching Sunday School, directing Cubbies, serving as a translator on multiple mission trips, and more.

Along with pastoring, Tony is a publisher and published author, a High School Spanish teacher at Oregon-Davis, and he owns his own tutoring business where he teaches foreign languages and mathematics to people from all around the world.
